The Grand Oak Steakhouse & Bar, located at Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley (established 1884), is a secluded getaway that's not too far from home. Enjoy views of our certified organic lavender and beautiful sunsets in our comfortable dining area decorated with antiques. The steakhouse offers affordable lunch specials starting at $7 (Tuesday to Saturday). Or plan your special event, birthday party or anniversary at our banquet hall, bar or dining room. We have seasonally inspired dishes as well as vegetarian meals.

I have been enjoying the great atmosphere, ambiance and entertainment in the lounge since my discovery of this establishment early this summer. The food is excellent, employees are great especially the friendly and courteous Bar Tender. Unfortunately while going to enjoy the entertainment and atmosphere last night I was informed, from now on the cocktails will only be served in a clear plastic cup similar to a red solo cup. That genius move has changed the level of class and ambiance of this lounge to nothing more than a "rot gut college bar." I will no longer patronize this establishment until such time as they make the decision to return serving their cocktails in a proper glass!
