Provided by YP.comTook my 2009 Expedition to Midas in Cheyenne, WY, They did not tighten the oil plug. Lost the majority of the oil out of the engine. Had to (on a Sunday) get a shop to look at it so that I could make it home. Took it too my home Repair Shop here in Cheyenne. Compression in the engine was not where it was supposed to be.
Called Midas, they asked that I take it down to them. Which I have done, The Manager at the Linconway Midas, Told me I don't know what I am talking about , Also told my BF he didn't know what he was talking about. Told me that my mechanic doesn't know what he is talking about. "You can't lose compression from losing oil” I have all the documentation from the 1st shop and from my shop here in town as to the facts. Midas is refusing to do anything to repair the damage that was caused by their incompetent employees. The manager told me that he had looked under it and there was nothing wrong, My BF went in after that to get the Vehicle and the manager told him he had not even had a chance to look at it. Two different stories, not willing to stand up for their employee’s mistake. I now have a lawyer so that I can get my vehicle fixed. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE IT RUNNING.

Provided by YP.comWe couldn't have had a better experience! After our journey down the Alaska Hwy. we had terribly loud rear breaks. Thinking we needed them replace, we made an appointment here. Nick, the owner, showed us that our brakes were indeed in good shape. He had them cleaned and oiled. Then the shop and the entire neighborhood lost power. Our car was stranded on the lift for hours. When power came back, Nick sent us on our way at no charge, and then contacted us the next day to make sure everything was okay.
I will not take my vehicles any where else for service. Well pleased. No work ever performed without first giving me an estimate and asking my approval before starting work. Midas has been doing my work for over 5 years on my 4 vehicles including restoration of my 1966 El Camino. Several people who I work with also take their vehicles to Midas for service. Midas also stands behind its service. Brad the service manager and Bob have been extremely helpful and if one does not have an answer to my question the other one does.
DO not take your car to this shop. I took my vehicle in because the check engine light was on, to get the oil changed and to have a slow leak checked in a tire. They removed the object from the tire then tried to get me to buy two new tires. They also advised that I had an oil leak and needed to replace the oil coolant lines. After running the diagnostics on the engine the "thought that it was probably" the rear knock sensor. They could not get the work done that day so I had to leave my vehicle there over the weekend. Well-after pronouncing the problems fixed to the tune of over $600.00, the check engine light came on again the very next day. Not sure about anyone else's experience with this shop, but do know that that is the first and only time I will take a vehicle there.
