Probably THE ABSOLUTE WORST medical experience I've had in my over 40 years.
I Went there for a horrible sore throat in the summer of 2015 (It's April 2016 now, and I'm still dealing with this nightmare) and was diagnosed with strep throat. I was given 10 days worth of antibiotics and was told to take them immediately after leaving, which I did. I was then told I'd get a call the next day with the lab results.
Next day came and just before 5 o'clock, after not having received a call all day, I called them to find out the results. I was told they weren't aware of any results and they'd call me Monday. Monday came and went...same thing. Called them at 5 o'clock and they said they'd call me Tuesday. Tuesday, same story....they finally said they'd call me by the end of the week. (HUH? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NEXT DAY?)

I could have rec'd the same garbage diagnosis from the guy that mows my lawn, actually...wow

My wife attempted to stop in for urgent care at Piedmont Urgent Care-Baxter this evening and was turned away because they said "they couldn't help her type of pain there" and saying they didn't have the type of pain meds she needed. All I can say is I'm absolutely furious because they were implying essentially she was there for some kind of pain meds, which she hasn't had prescribed in years, maybe coming out of surgery years ago.

She ended up there by accident because in reality she was disoriented from what she was going through and trying to drive to CMC on Gold Hill Road.

They didn't even check her vitals, heart rate, blood pressure, nothing. Basically sent her on hey way, didn't bother to see what exactly might be going on. In reality she's had to deal with multiple health issues over the years which she was pretty up front with them about and was real clear she had no interest in pain meds, which she had to state after they accused her of coming in there for such.

Sad, sad day when patients with real medical need are pre-judged and turned away from basic care. This is not an urgent care facility and I do hope all my friends in Baxter village (we're in Indian Land) see this message and never go here. Spend the extra 5 minutes and drive down there road to Gold Hill CMC or find another Practioner. Appalled at the way the treated my wife and unfortunate I wasn't there to provide my feedback first hand.
