Worse er room I've ever seen. The hospital is the best but if at all possible go to Charlotte for emergencies. That wait time is forever and the doctors and nurses leave a lot to be desired. Never again!

I have almost died in the ER due to the recklessness. A year later my son is in the NICU born premature and every single day has been a battle with this place. On top of the inadequate care, and nurses who love that break room, the attitudes from almost everyone in this place are appalling. Avoid this place if at all possible. About the only good thing I can say about it is the babies have their own room, and a few nurses up there actually care. My fiance was also just recently in the hospital and was just as inadequately treated. So every experience I have had, and they are numerous, have just been short coming of what I expect a hospital to be. Shame on this place.

I received care from all staff in a professional and courteous manner. This was my first visit to the ER but have received services from the outpatient surgical services that were also excellent. I had heard negative comments re: ER and wanted to share my positive experience. Doctor Patel was the best , She listened to me in entirety and explained her plan of treatment. I truly feel I received excellent care from all departments but especially Dr. Pâtél, Nurses Kelly {and nurse Red}. Gaston Memorial Is our ER if needed in the future, Thankyou to everyone.

I have only had good experiences at Gaston Memorial. I had cancer and had to go for several years for therapy. Everyone was great!
