My favorite BBQ in all of Knoxville.

The meat tasted fine but the portions were very small for. the price.

Best BBQ I have ever had!!! Great place, great atmosphere and a super staff, does not get better than this!!!!

I do know that the meat is slow cooked over hickory coals right in the restaurant - cause I asked - The smokers they use are tight - maintaining all the smoke to go right into their meats as they cook. The staff actually let me take a look at the cookers. They have some awesome cookers - they are nice! I like the fact that their meat does not automatically come with sauce all over it - you can actually taste the meat. I started eating there because I can see the meat I am getting cause they let the customer add the sauce themselves- they want the customer to see the quality they are getting.I learned alot from talking to one of their employees - the meat it is all hand pulled - no chopping or grinding - they say they hand pull it to get the finest and purest quality they can get - they don't chop it cause they don't want all that excess fat in their product. I am telling you - it's a good choice for people who don't like chopped or grinded BBQ.

Not worthy of a 5 star rating unless you've never had BBQ before. I drove over from Clinton after reading all the previous reviews thinking I was really in for a treat. The place was clean,the food was good and priced right however I thought the sides were small. The smell of BBQ was missing which lead me to believe that the food was cooked somewhere else and brought in. Wow I could have had Buddy's BBQ

Fantastic BBQ, chicken and ribs! Our group had them all! We did not even need the BBQ sauce! Great service and very nice atmosphere---highly recommend to all BBQ lovers!

Bernies has the best pork I have ever eaten. Bernies pork is so good you dont even need any bbq sauce with it.

I have eaten at Bernies several times and have been pleased over and over. Why - not only was the food good but the service was good. The facility was clean and I like that I can see in the kitchen each time I go. I like to see what's going on when my food is prepared. The staff actually washes their hands - I have met the owners and they appear to be very involved in the running of the business.

Attended a catering that Bernie's did. The pork was delicious. Plan on getting to Bernie's restaurant soon - heard the smoked chicken was as delicious as the pork.

Very happy with the food we ate. Used the drive thru window. Service was fast - order was right and the prices were reasonable. We got the family pack

The barbque is awesome. Like none I have ever had. I recommend the spicy fries and pecan pie. Terrific. Great to have good barbque in Knoxville.

VERY FRESH,TENDER, SIDES WERE ALSO VERY GOOD, VINEGAR COLESLAW IS GREAT, SPICY FRIES. RECOMMEND. LOTS OF CHOICES ON MENU
