He chose Larchmont because of the bustling downtown area and the absence of any French restaurants. Larchmont is also home to a very large French community. Encore offers a typical French Bistro Menu for both lunch and dinner. The staff were not very receptive, we were told to sit in a cramped corner even though there was only one other table at the time. We went early for brunch only to be told "we can't really do much with eggs". A very limited menu with little variation.
