General Info
Early in 1980 we came to Redding to retire and couldnt find a good local Italian restaurant. So with Tomiko my wife, and son Michael, daughters Rose and Gina, we opened a small gourmet Italian restaurant. Many years later Nellos has become a landmark from Seattle to San Diego.

Provided by YPmobileI came on the recommendation of locals and I was not disappointed. I ordered Chicken piccata and it was very flavorful. The atmosphere was very romantic even though I was by myself -it was valentines weekend and many were getting a head start. It is obvious the place to take your lady for a great dinner. I need to bring my wife next time.

Provided by YPmobileNellos is the best restauerant in town. I have gone on company parties. And special occasions. The food is excellent, and the service is impecable. The flower at the end for the women is a nice touch.

A local highlight of mine. I have been going here for over ten years,and love the food. One waiter is amazing,and loves his job. He is Nello's son,Angelo. He has taken care of me,and my demands,even when I bring friends. He makes the evening from good to better. The best restraunt,and dining experience I have ever had. It is unique because it still has that old Italian charm,that has held over the years,that you cant get at an olive garden. I got great service. If you ever go in,ask for Angelo. Ciao!
