I ate here several days ago and have nothing but good to say about this place. The service was great as were the ravioli and salad. I look forward to being in SLC area again and eating here.
Coming from SF, this is a great restaurant. The dinners are excellent. The seafood has always been fresh. I frequently have oysters with my daughter there or just the wonderful clam chowder or New Zealand Cockles with bread. A little pricey for dinner but great for a date or special occasion. Atmosphere is cosmopolitan. Dress is office best or semi formal. The occasional dress downed persons are eyesores

Provided by YP.comPart of the New Yorker family, Market Street Grill has two locations. Meet friends downtown after the game or theater, or have a great meal at the Cottonwood location.

Provided by DexKnowsGreat cleanliness! Great attractive menu and wine list. Breakfast is the real shiner here! (as it is less money than the other 2 meals) free parking for breakfast! (not lunch or dinner downtown, its street or pay parking) but the other locations are free... Super nice use of great oils & butter ! (no margerine here) - homemade jam, amazing holandase sauce - full bar, wheee its the real deal! and although the staff seems (some of them only) a bit stressed, it is because of the demanding managemnet that great things occur here. NEVER have a digestive problem ! (They know Gastronomy 4 sure!) Love the halibut breakfast! Frequent diner program too. Yum.

Provided by DexKnowsPLEASE!!! You cannot give these Seafood restaurants 5 Stars! Unless you're a LAND-LOCKED amateur. I was raised in New England so be fair and compare apples to apples. No Handicapps here! Had "2-clam chowder there once-yes found only 2 clams! They must be compared on the level playing field meaning by the same standard that the leading Seafood restaurants nation-wide are be measured by such as: 1) The Sole Proprietor in Worcester, MA, 2) Legal Seafood Boston and MA-wide, 3) Anthony's Pier 4 on the Boston Harbor, 4) Newick's in Portsmouth, NH (no atmosphere but incredibly fresh and great food and on the water where they get their seafood fresh as well across the bay there). And what about all the incredible ones in California, Washington, NY, and other places I have dined (but canot recall their names). And even in land-locked Ft. Wayne, IN home of two of the best: "Paula's On Main" and the Oyster Bar/House. Been to them all and Market Street is okay for Utah.Try 'em and see!
