new here in town and have been searching for a nice place to eat.. i love seafood so someone suggested i go here. i tried a few of their appetizers and they were all delightfully tasty. i had the crusted talapia for my entree.. the fish was cooked perfectly and i love the sauce that they used...i had a great time and especially enjoyed my dinner.. will be back for more!!

the food here is great and the servers were also really friendly. i'll definitely be back!!

Excellent food, atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. I've been there twice and have had NO complaints about the service or the food. The steaks are the best around! Prices are reasonable as well! Great place to take a date

THIS PLACE SUCKS AND THE OWNER IS A B***H THE FOOD TOOK TO LONG TO COME OUT I WAITED AN HOUR FOR MY FOOD TO COME AND THE HOSTESS / OWNER DECIDED TO TELL ME HOW THE FOOD IS SERVED AND I QUOTE " FIRST COMES APPETIZER THEN YOUR MEAL... THUS THE REASON WHY MY FOOD TOOK SO LONG TO COME OUT.. WHICH SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE AT ALL THE APPETIZER THAT I ORDERED SUCKED IT COULD HAVE BEEN MADE IN 2 SECONDS IT DOESN'T TAKE AN HOUR TO MAKE FOOD! THE SALADS THAT ARE LEFT OUT FOR FLIES TO GO IN ITS REPULSIVE I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE IT IS SO BAD IT DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE A RATING THE MANAGER NEEDS TO BRUSH UP ON HER SKILLS AND NEEDS TO LEARN THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND THAT HER FOOD SUCKS AND SHOULD SHUT DOWN THE PLACE BEFORE WE ALL GET SICK. I am responding to review below (jayhyl on 01/29/2007) where there seems to be a person issue towards the owners of this great place. I have been to Anthony Jack's on many occasions with small and large groups and I have no complaints. The food has always been great, great service, and great environment.

Wasnt thrilled with at all,There was 5 of us that went out of the five meals only 2 were happy,over cooked ,over priced,and had to wait 45 minutes with a reservation,needless to say NOT GOING BACK

WE DINED THERE 2 TIMES FIRST TIME ,TOOK FOREVER TO GET A TABLE,AND LET ME TELL YOU..THE FOOD WAS OVER COOKED AND VERY PRICEY,OK SO WE TRIED IT FOR LUNCH THIS TIME,ONCE AGAIN ARE FOOD WAS OVER COOKED,THE SWORDIFH SANDWICH WAS LIKE SANDPAPER,I COULDNT EVEN SWALLOW IT,NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WONT BE GOING BACK,HIGH PRICED,WAY OVER RATED THATS FOR SURE

A girlfriend of mine who grew up in Southington recommended Anthony Jack's to me about 3 years and I now consider it my all time favorite restaurant! I brought my boyfriend there soon after my 1st visit (he loves steak) and now it's his favorite. Everyone that we have told to try Anthony Jack's have raved about it. The food is delicious (My favorite is the Sirloin Tips) and for a great price! I do suggest you make reservations by Thursday at the latest if you plan on going during the weekend. Definitely an exceptional restaurant!

I've eaten here over the years and found the food to be consistently good and reasonably priced. The dining area can be loud and crowded. I recommend making reservations.

We have patronized Anthony Jacks on dozens of occasions, both in small and large groups, and have recommended it wholeheartedly to everyone we know. The food is consistently excellent at very reasonable prices. We have found the entire staff, including the owners, to be nothing short of completely professional, considerate and friendly. We recommend Anthony Jacks without reservation.
