Though their prices are higher than Home Depot and they do not have the one-year guarantee that the big box stores have. . . .I prefer Civano Nursery to all others. Everytime I think I've done my research and go there to pick up the plant I was wanting, they warn me of something that I either had not considered (dropping leaves, lots of litter, frost sensitive, etc.) or hadn't found while researching. I would have for sure picked the wrong plant for my needs if I hadn't gone here. A huge plus is that I have seen people with disabilities working while I was shopping. My son has special needs also so I feel very connected to that cause. Anywhere that helps our local disabled community is worth going to!

Provided by YP.comI live in the area, and frequently ask them questions about vegetation in Arizona. They are very knowledgeable. I needed someone to work on my reclaimed water, and they suggested:
Guaranteed Landscaping, Inc. That was the BEST referral, I have ever had .

Provided by DexKnowsHey anyone who is interested in shopping at a great plant place I stumbled upon this week this is it. I was wondering around the store and didn't feel harassed by the sales people, I did ask a few questions and I thought I knew my plants but these folks actually are professionals, I probably got more information than I needed but hey I learned something new. What really got my interest were the goats, can you imagine goats and then chickens in a plant store. My son just loved it and it certainly made it easier for me to stay alot longer than I could normally do with a three year old. Of course I ended up there alot longer when he discovered the play area that is completely filled with sand. Love this place, you have to go.

Provided by DexKnowsAlthough they didn't have the plant I was looking for, they assured me they usually have it in stock and to check back. They offered to put my name on a list for when it comes in. I have shopped there on a number of occasions and have always found the staff friendly and a source of good information.

I went to the Civano Nursery for the first time last weekend. I was so amazed at the variety, the healthy plants, and the customer service I received. I live in a colder climate, and was shown what would grow best at our altitude. All of my questions were answered without anyone rolling their eyes. And, the prices were very reasonable. I did not have the time to take a grand tour, but I'm definitely going back to fully enjoy the nursery. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Provided by DexKnowsI shopped here and could not believe the ignorance displayed by the members of the staff I encountered. I am an educated person and was treated like I did not know anything about plants even though I have been gardening in Tucson for 25 years, I was given wrong information, and was told to do things as if we were in Canada or something. I urge people who want to succeed with their plants to shop somewhere else.

Provided by YP.comI called to ask a quick question about termites living in my full grown palm trees and they were very helpful, answered all of my questions and gave really good advice. They went out of their way to take their time in answering all of my questions and helping me.

This is a great garden center, everyone is very friendly and the know their stuff. It really is worth the trip, there are a lot of cool things their. Like the surprise of a kids play area, animals, ponds, fountains. Its not your typical garden center, you can tell these people really like what they do. The people who work there are happy and more than helpful.Highly recommend Civano Nursery, it is truley a gem.
