I am not normally one to write a review, but I was so pleased with the level of personal service and up front honesty that I have to tell others about this place. I was under the impression that my front wheel bearing was going out in my chevy prizm, and so I went to affordable car care after reading some good things about them on the internet. I was instantly impressed when the owner, Albert, requested to go for a drive with me so I could explain what I was noticing while it was actually happening. I've never had a mechanic do that. I felt at ease knowing that he and I were on the same page about what the symptoms were. He gave me an estimate, if it was the bearing that needed to be replaced, and asked if I would be waiting. I was, so he pulled it right into the shop to begin working. After a short while he came back in and asked me to come see something. He pointed out that one of my tires was faulty, and then had his mechanic switch it with the rear one. He asked if I wanted to go for a drive again to see if I noticed the problem move to the back, which I did, and that was the problem. He also replaced my oil pans bolt gasket with a higher grade one, free of charge, which solved my oil leak problem. I am so glad to have found a mechanic that I know I can trust. Albert could have charged me for a new bearing, plus labor, but instead I left there with a free fixed oil leak, and bought another tire at Discount Tire Company which fixed the problem. For anyone looking for a good mechanic, this place is the real deal! Albert genuinely cares about his customers, and the fact that they have other bills to pay. Check him out, you wont be disappointed!

I used to have my dad do most of my mechanic work because I could never find a good, honest and fair mechanic. Then, through word of mouth, a teacher friends of mine told me about Albert, and I checked him out. I've been taking all of my car's to Albert ever since. He's an honest guy, knows his stuff, and charges fairly! Just as importantly, the guy that work for him is the same way. Albert has plenty of times repaired problems that I assumed were bigger than they were, whilst I watched...Turned out to be a 15-25 minute minor tweak, and he charged me faily... To me, that is the mark of an honest man and a great mechanic. They should call him Dr. Auto!!!
