Our family had a great time Pontoon Boating on Lake Fork. Ricky's provided great service & the boat was great. We caught a bunch of Crappie and had a fish fry.

No complaints here. We needed a boat and he had two left. It was a busy weekend and we were just happy to have access with the last minute notice. My buddy forgot to bring his hitch and wiring harness, but they were more than happy to loan us one. They gave us a quick walk through and off we went. The boat was older, but more than enough for two people... Depth finder, trolling motor, cup holders, etc. What else do you need? All in all one of the easiest boat rentals that I've ever had. Batteries were fine with a one day rental, we didn't have to refuel or charge trolling batteries. PS - I'm only leaving this comment because I came across these low ratings. No way this should be a two star. Our first rental was in the spring of 2014 and I was just calling to reserve another boat next weekend. I will be back many more times.

Best experience in renting ever. We needed some lodging & Ricky helped us. He was patient and went above & beyond to make sure we had a good trip to Lake Fork! Excellent customer service!

Stay far, far away from this guy. Seriously, buy a belly boat first! One minute this guy is fine and the next he loses all control. There is something wrong with him. You would be better off taking a chance on anyone else. I mean anyone!

Worst boat rental EVER!... We rented a fishing boat and discovered it was taking in water the bilge pump was coming on every minute or two and pumping out water all day we thought it was missing the plug but it was in. The trolling motor quit working after about 2 hours than the lift handle cord broke. We took it back after the first day to see if he could fix it or let us get a different boat. He said the trolling motor should only last 1 hours if you had a big fat foot on it all day and suggested that we charge it and that we should use it only for directional control and not to move forward (use the big motor for that). We charged it for 12 hours and it still went dead within an hour the next day. So basically we rented a boat only to be able to tie to a tree and fish from there the rest of the day... In an attempt to address the crappy trolling motor at the end of trip, he wouldn’t listen and started ranting that he would never rent a boat to me again. To top things off, after getting in his truck he started threatening, asking if he needed to “show me out of town” on his way out he flipped me the bird and called me a fat “F” . My suggestion would be to rent from someone else. And yes, I have contested the charge on my credit card and will be contacting the BBB.

Recently rented a fishing boat from Ricky's after the first day with several things wrong with the boat not only was he not willing to fix or make things right, he got mad at us I guess for even bringing the problems up to him. We had already paid for 2 days so basically the 2nd day we were fishing out of a boat tied to a tree because the trolling motor didn't work and also the bilge pump coming on every min. or so pumping out enough water to sink us if it gave out.

(Not Recommended) My fishing buddy and I recently rented a fishing boat for the weekend, it was our second time to rent from Ricky's, the first time we had no complaints it was a great boat as advertised no problems. Not the case this time boat was definitely worn, we were taking on water somewhere enough that the pump was coming on every few min. for 30 sec. to a min. and trolling motor ran down within 2-3 hours. After the first day we took it back to see if there was any thing he could do for us... He said it was designed to pump that much water and that the trolling motor would only last 2 1/2 hrs. if you had a big fat foot on it all day. His suggestion charge the battery and that was all he could do for us... We won't be going back several other places to rent from hopefully with better customer service
